With friends like these ....

Bazoukiboy came around for a cup of tea the other day and he, Fester and I started discussing a mutual friend.

"Well" says Bazoukiboy "he is a completely self-absorbed narcissist."

"Be honest" says Fester "with a face like that he can't afford to be a narcissist."

Miawoo.

My friend Jim once had a lady neighbour who used to glare at him over the fence whenever he opened his back door. And sometimes she would take a sharp intake of breath too...a hiss! She never spoke. This from the very first day he moved in and he never found out what, if anything, he`d done to deserve this. He once described her as having "a face like a bag of Adders"!

And then of course there was our mother who regularly described miserable or sour looking people (including her offspring) as having "a face like a sheep sh*teing razorblades."
Apologies for the earthiness but it doesn't work without the alliteration.
