Thieves in Parliament
Politicians constantly promise to help victims of crime, but now it seems they have fallen foul of thieves in the heart of Westminster.
The Parliamentary authorities have revealed 10 chairs have been stolen from heavily-guarded Portcullis House.
But it must have been a daring raid given that the building - containing MPs' offices and meeting rooms - is guarded by armed policemen and tightly monitored entrances and exits.
Other thefts include one pair of candlesticks, one set of golf clubs, a digital camera and one computer laptop. Five amounts of cash, all under ã100, were also taken in the last 12 months.
