Greengate rumbles on in big day for Parliament
The Queen will be arriving in Westminster very shortly for the state opening of Parliament when she will outline the Government's legislative programme - although it may be overshadowed by the Damian Green affair.
Expect the best of British pomp and circumstance as she reads out what Gordon Brown is planning to do over the next year.
Barring some major surprises we already know what new laws the Prime Minister wants to bring in thanks to his announcement of his "pre-legislative programme" earlier this year.
Forcing the banks to behave better, elected local officials overseeing the police, controls on lap dancing clubs, welfare reform and a crackdown on boozing are all expected.
But because we already know about these plans, the day may be overshadowed by the row over the arrest of senior Tory MP Damian Green with some of his colleagues reportedly preparing a protest.
The Commons Speaker, Michael Martin, has also been forced into giving a statement over why police officers were allowed to raid Mr Green's Parliamentary offices.
