Ethical store sales

By Anna Heywood on Jan 7, 09 10:28 PM

Don't limit yourself to the high street in the hunt for bargains.
Today I share with you, my list of on-line ethical stores, all of whom are having fantastic sales.

As the People Tree website puts it so well "with the high street offering huge discounts, People Tree and Fair Trade producers can't afford for you to shop anywhere else".

Ethical stores don't pass on discounts down the supply chain so you can still be assured that the producer is being paid a fair price.

Traidcraft and Ethical Superstore are based locally so you'll also be helping the local economy.

I very rarely hit the high street and the following six on-line shops are where I do most of my shopping.

People Tree
Ethical Fashion producers and store. My favourite brand in the whole world have made some brilliant reductions making their clothes even more affordable.
I have seen the work that goes into these garments and believe me I am always surprised that they don't need to charge double the price.

Ethicalsuperstore.com
Based on Team Valley, this sells everything from toys to food plus gadgets and clothes; it really is a one stop shop. Some items discounted up to 80%.

Traidcraft
One of the best known names in ethical trading, Traidcraft is about to celebrate its 30th birthday this year.
Food, home items, clothes and wine are all included in their sale.

Beyond Skin
Beyond Skin is an exclusive ethical footwear label producing beautiful, designer style classic, hand-made shoes. In the past, attempts to combine fashion and ethics have generally resulted in one side of the equation being sacrificed. Beyond Skin has produced a classic - yet unique - collection of vegetarian/vegan shoes that are truly gorgeous and would Manolo green with envy.

Green Shoes
Handmade shoes in either eco-tanned leather or Vegan Material.
Quite clumpy and booty, they do look eco but are great fun as you get to pick your own colours. They remind me of the Camper shoe style.
I always get my children's school shoes from here as you can get them resoled up to two sizes, so it becomes cost effective.

Terra Plana
Ethical shoes and accessories from recycled parts.
I have already got my fantastic handbag made of used seatbelts and inner tubes and am hoping to buy a pair of the fab high heels made with recycled quilts (yes it sounds weird but it does work).

People Tree has the most amazing, stylish and ethically produced clothes. Every girl deserves an item sitting in their collection. Good to see someone else shares my love!

It is great that people are able to get the loans moreover, that opens up completely new possibilities.

According to my monitoring, thousands of people on our planet get the business loans from well known creditors. Thus, there's good chances to find a credit loan in all countries.
