Llambias to the slaughter
So Newcastle United "supremo" Derek Llambias has been doing a bit of grovelling in The Chronicle today.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the club's bosses have decided to fall prostrate before the supporters, claiming they always meant to call them back, they just never got around to it.
What's more, they broke the silence with a claim of epic proportions.
Llambias has told them they will be challenging for EVERYTHING in five year's time - the promise of a desperate lover trying to salvage a doomed relationship.
Well, our lot and Quinny are still going strong after Saturday - a brilliant result despite the fact the opposition were dire.
Rob "I change the rules in my head just to make it interesting" Styles was on top form again. And Kenwynne has bailed us out again despite looking pretty rubbish for most of the match.
I thought the fat man had another good game. And I like Bardo more and more with every game - mostly for the way he stays on the pitch for ages after the game clapping the fans.
I'm easily won over. But, then again, even I wouldn't have been fooled by Mr Llambias' bright new dawn speech.
