LONDON FASHION WEEK

By Liz Lamb on Feb 22, 09 10:06 AM

I'VE JUST walked past supermodel Erin O'Connor and in the flesh she is as beautiful and statuesque as she looks in Vogue.

Damn her!

She can't have had too much of a wild night after last night's Vivienne Westwood show as I spotted her freshfaced and gorgeous at 9am waiting to go into the Betty Jackson show.

She was sat in the front row at the Dame of British fashion's show with none other than comedian David Walliams, who had a blonde on his arm.

They weren't the only celebs getting attention from the photographers.

Nicola from Girls Aloud arrived amid a blaze of flash bulbs and happily posed for pics.

She is absolutely tiny in real life. Very slim and birdlike but pretty too. Leah Wood-daughter of Rolling Stone Ronnie-also courted attention.

She was there to support her mum Jo, who was putting her past troubles behind her, to model some of Vivienne's eyepopping creations.

The show was fantastic, the best one on this week's circuit.

It was housed in the rundown Olympia building in Kensington and perfectly offsetted Westwood's clothes, which saw a return to the cleavage with her famed corsets making a return to the catwalk.

This morning I have been at Betty Jackson which featured a clash of prints, velvet mink trousers and dresses, and layering.

Erin was in the front row along with ex-Darlington fashion designer Bruce Oldfield. The girls sat behind me said Joanna Lumley was there too though I didn't see her.

I have to rush now as I'm off to the Nicole Farhi show which is running at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

More fashion stories later
