Muggles beware

We have not been geocaching lately because of the weather, so we are going to tell you about muggles instead so that you don't end up being arrested.

Muggles are non- geocaching folk who have no idea about geocaching.

There are two things that you don't want to happen as far as geocaching is concerned.

1) When you are geocaching it is tough luck if you and your geocaching clan get spotted by muggles. You are supposed to go out of your way to avoid being spotted with the cache.

2) A geocache has been found and ransacked or taken by the muggles.
Usually the owner otherwise known as the hider of a geocache has put a card in the cache to explain what it is and what to do if the muggle has found it accidentally.

The card would usually say:
If you find this geocache please put it back and pretend it was never there but if you would like to join geocaching go to www.geocaching.com join up and tell all of your friends about it.

So be watchful of muggles now you know about them, they could report you to the Police for theft because they don't actually know what you really are doing!
