Niall Quinn's genius knows no bounds
I'm reminded of that classic Salt-n-Pepper lyric: "What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man."
The news that Niall Quinn has cut ticket prices for next season and is offering a ã19 season ticket for under-16s has me smiling today.
We can all be justifiably proud of our club at a time when relationships between fans and fat cats are often fraught.
Quinny has again proved himself a master of PR and, whats more, I think the move will benefit the team.
Ensuring we pull in big crowds and generate an atmosphere will only hasten our progress on the field.
I think we've lost a little bit of the intimidation factor we had in the years after the Stadium of Light opened.
Niall wants to get it back and, in the process, strengthen his already brilliant relationship with us lot.
Quinny, I and the girls in Salt-n-Pepper salute you.
