MP Malik on 40 inch telly

Former Justice Secretary Shahid Malik is on the telly again, insisting he has "nothing to apologise" and has not abused the rules.

But he revealed that he got a 40 inch television on taxpayer-funded expenses, and earlier justified his massage chair!

And now he has stepped down "temporarily" from his ministerial job because an investigation has been launched into whether he got a financial advantage from a cheap rent - and so broke the Ministerial Code.

He insists he hasn't, but I wonder how long he has got. Having previously worked on the Yorkshire Post, I know that Dewsbury is not a well-off place and jaws will drop at his response and claims.
