18% Labour

Just waiting for a briefing with Foreign Secretary David Miliband in Labour headquarters about the European elections this week.

But it is looking as if it is going to be terribly for Labour - in fact so bad that Mr Miliband might want to pop round to the lastminute.com office, which is based in the same office block, to book a cheap escape abroad.

Labour is on just 18% in the latest poll, the same as the Lib Dems with the Tories a whopping 22% ahead.

And a Labour worker is sitting next to me, bemoaning the latest results. Is the end nigh for Gordon Brown and Labour?
