Enviro village in city centre
I get invited to lots of things and sometimes I am bothered more than others when I can't make an event.
The environmental education event, in the city centre today, is one of them.
As I can't make it I urge you all to go along and let me know what it was like!
According the publicity 'Everyone is welcome' at the 'enviro village' outside the Centre for Life on today (Thursday 25th June) from 10am - 3pm.
There will be stalls from over 50 companies and organisations involved
in improving the environment including Little Wasters and Recyke Y' bike
Enviro village is part of a conference for Newcastle school children taking place at the same time inside the Centre for Life, although the stalls outside are open to everyone.
The Climate change and sustainability conference is being organised by Enviro-schools.
There will be lots of activities for the children and they will be consulted on a number of environmental topics with the opportunity to vote on various issues.
