Plot of Bother: Aug 4

Just back from hols and we've popped up to the allotment site - taking friends with us to 'show off' the site.

Again, alarmingly, this followed tea at Scalini's in the Three Mile Inn. Oh dear, a pattern emerging here.

Friends have offered us cuttings galore from their fruit trees and loads of advice.

Reality is starting to set in - and we need to start thinking about how to tackle the site.

Fortunately we've missed all the summer planting dates, so the pressure's off a bit... and allotment chairman Barry has offered to get us started with sprouts and broccoli.
