Celebrity Fashion Designer comes to the North East??
FASHION designer to the stars Amanda Wakeley has revealed she could be soon selling her exquisite designs in the North East.
caught up with the designer, whose celebrity client list includes Angelina Jolie, Demi Moore and Beyonce, at Harvey Nichols, in Manchester.
She told me she is in talks to sell her clothes in Newcastle. Currently the nearest suppliers are Harvey Nichols in Leeds and Edinburgh.
Amanda said: "I'm not in Newcastle yet but we have something coming up soon. We are working on wholesalers at the moment."
Here's a model wearing a frock from the current collection which features beautiful beaded dresses, suede tunics and sculpted leather dresses.
Amanda also revealed that from next season netaporter.com will also be stocking her fashion line.
