What will be hot at fashion store Next for spring/summer 2011?

By Liz Lamb on Nov 8, 10 02:58 PM

nextss.jpgIF you are after a tip-off on what to wear for spring/summer think florals inspired by the 70s, classic white and tropical prints.

I was at the Next spring/summer show in London this week to glimpse what is hitting the high street next season.

Next is a real winner yet again with a stunning collection. Trends to look out for include spring florals inspired by the Seventies which can be found on pretty jumpsuits, cropped tops with crochet necklines and palazzo pants.
Bold spots and stripes
sported by 60s style-setters is also an influence. Camel is the colour of this season and it will transcend into summer, but this time be worked with black, on piping
and collars and block pattern on 60s-style mini-
dresses. We'll be wishing for a hot summer as a tropics story combines safari references with pops of orange and brights on jumpsuits.

Classic whites can be found on skinny jeans, cut-off shorts, linen trouser suits and sleek dresses with balloon sleeves.

There is also a dash of denim on 70s-style jeans, jackets and shorts.
