I'VE had some bad news today when I had to pull out of my fight with Nathan King.
I was due to fight King in Nottingham on Friday but after picking up a little niggle in my last sparring session before the fight I've decided to do the sensible thing and pull out.
I'M going to be doing my bit for Sport Relief this year by dancing live on BBC1. There's only one problem - I can't dance to save my life!
THIS week I've moved my training base back to Sunderland and it's brilliant news for me.
I've not trained in Sunderland since before the last Commonwealth games and it's great to be back.
THIS week I've had four Sunderland footballers training with me at my gym in Ryhope and I was impressed with how they got on.
I've been able to spend Christmas back home, working at the Olympian Gym me and my dad set up last year.
Lee Cattermole, Anton Ferdinand, Andy Reid and Nyron Nosworthy are all coming back from injury and they came down for a session this week.
THE end of a year is always a good time to look back and 2009 has given me some of the best and worst times of my life.
This time 12 months ago was the best, with my then-promoter Dennis Hobson offering me an absolute fortune and promising me the world, and my girlfriend Sarah pregnant.
IT didn't last very long, but I was pleased with my first-round stoppage of Andrejs Tolstihs in Newport on Friday.
I just wanted to improve on my last performance and I think I did that. I thought I boxed well and took care of business.
I'M not looking forward to Christmas.
I NEED your help because there's a question running around in my head at the moment I don't know the answer to.
I'LL probably be watching on TV instead of at ringside when Amir Khan fights in Newcastle this weekend, but I'm really pleased such a big night of boxing is coming to the North East.
HAVING made my modelling debut at the Stadium of Light last year, it was good to be invited back for the SAFC Foundation's second annual fashion show.
Just like last year I really enjoyed it and it was good to catch up with some of the players from last year and meet the new players Steve Bruce bought in the summer.
I've been a Sunderland fan all my life but it's at events like this week's, when you get to see the players away from the pitch, that you get to see a different side to the team. You could tell the club is definitely moving in the right direction.
